Common Cents Thrift Shop of Oxford NY

Mission:
The Common Cents Thrift Shop is not-for-profit. Proceeds from sales and donations benefit the Oxford Food Pantry (OFP). The OFP, serves the Oxford and McDonough community, and is available through local church referrals.

People from all communities are welcome in the Common Cents Thrift Shop and the sharing of prudent ideas is encouraged. The Common Cents Thrift Shop carries gently used items. Offerings will vary depending on donations.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Due to Covid 19 we have new hours for shopping and donations.
Donations by appointment only.....no drop offs.

Donation days are Monday and Wednesday, 9:00 am to 10:00 am. Call (607) 843-6512.
Sorry, we do not accept electronics...including TVs, Computers, Printers, DVD or VCR players.

New store hours for shopping: Tues., Thurs., & Fri. 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Sat. 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

What will you find there?

• Clothing: You will find clothing for adults and children such as dress pants, jeans, shorts (in season), shirts, light coats, heavy coats (in season), bras, socks, jackets, vests, sweaters, dresses, skirts, sleepwear, hats, gloves, purses, shoes, slippers, boots, etc. Clothing stock is rotated according to the seasons.
• Housewares: lamps, dishes, storage containers, bread baskets, platters, mugs, vases, canisters, small appliances, curtains, bed spreads, sheets, comforters, figurines, collectibles, picture frames, clocks, small flower pots, hand soaps, movies, etc.
• Printed matter: greeting cards, magazines, books, etc.
• Children’s Area: stuffed animals, board games, story books, Halloween costumes, etc.
• Specials - watch the portable letterboard sign out front for weekly deals!

Donations: If you would like to make a gently used clothing/merchandise donation for the shop to sell, or a monetary donation, they can be made at the store. (See days and times above.) Checks can be mailed to: OXFORD FOOD PANTRY, ST. PAUL'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 34 MAIN ST, OXFORD NY 13830-3439.
Please note (as mentioned above): TVs, computers, keyboards, monitors, or printers will not be accepted.
